LuxeNailDiary exists to be a trustworthy, genuinely useful source of nail-design information. This Editorial Policy explains exactly how we research, write, source images, disclose relationships, and keep our content accurate. We hold ourselves to these standards on every article we publish.
How We Research Content
Every guide begins with research, not guesswork. We study current nail trends across Pinterest, Instagram, and the major beauty publications; we reference how professional nail artists actually execute a technique; and we name the specific products and tools involved. When we describe a trend, we point to where it really came from — a runway show, a specific celebrity manicure, or a documented viral moment — rather than inventing a backstory. Our goal is for each article to be the most complete and accurate resource on its specific topic.
How We Write
We write in clear, simple language that a complete beginner can follow, while still including the specific details an experienced nail artist will appreciate. The first time we use a technical term — like builder gel, BIAB, or Gel-X — we define it. Every article follows a consistent structure with a clear introduction, detailed body sections, practical tips, and a closing summary, plus a frequently-asked-questions section that answers the real questions readers search for.
How Images Are Sourced and Credited
Our visual style favors soft, natural light and a consistent cream-and-dusty-rose palette. Where we use original or licensed photography, we have the right to publish it. Where we use AI-generated reference imagery, we treat it strictly as illustrative inspiration and label it accordingly in the image's alt text. We do not pass off any image as a real product photo when it isn't, and we credit photographers and nail artists wherever attribution is owed.
Fact-Checking Process
Before publishing, every guide is checked for accurate product names, correct technique steps, and realistic expectations (for example, how long a manicure actually lasts). We do not fabricate quotes, statistics, reviews, ratings, or testimonials under any circumstances. If we state that a look trends or originated somewhere specific, that claim is based on real, verifiable information.
Affiliate Disclosure
Some of our articles may include affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We only ever link to products we would genuinely recommend, and an affiliate relationship never determines whether or how we cover something. Where affiliate links appear, their presence is disclosed.
Sponsored Content Policy
If we ever publish content that is sponsored or produced in partnership with a brand, it will be clearly and prominently labeled as such. We do not accept payment in exchange for a positive review or a guaranteed opinion. Sponsorship buys a brand visibility, never our editorial conclusions. Editorial decisions are always made independently of advertisers and partners.
Update Policy
Nail trends and products move quickly, so we treat our guides as living documents. We review seasonal and trend-led articles regularly and refresh them as looks evolve. When an article is meaningfully updated, the "last updated" date reflects it. This keeps our content useful long after it's first published.
Corrections
We get things wrong sometimes, and when we do, we fix them openly. If you spot an error — an outdated product, an incorrect step, or a broken detail — please tell us through our contact page or by emailing hello@luxenaildiary.com. We correct confirmed errors promptly and add a dated note where appropriate.
Editorial Independence
Above everything, our loyalty is to our readers. We write what we believe is genuinely helpful and honest, even when that means saying a popular trend isn't worth it or a pricey product isn't necessary. That independence is the whole point of LuxeNailDiary.
